How far in advance should we book?
Most couples enquire around 6–12 months before their wedding, but there's no hard rule. Whether you're planning well ahead or hoping to secure a date in the coming weeks, it's always worth getting in touch to check my availability.
We're not comfortable in front of the camera. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Most of the couples I work with tell me they're nervous about being photographed. My approach is relaxed and natural, with gentle guidance when needed, so you can focus on enjoying the day rather than worrying about the camera.
How much time should we allow for photos?
Every wedding is different, but I'll help you build a timeline that allows enough time for portraits, family photographs and all the moments in between without feeling rushed. During our planning conversations, we'll create a schedule that fits naturally into your day.
Do you travel across Scotland?
Absolutely! I photograph weddings and elopements throughout Scotland, from Edinburgh and the Highlands to some of the country's most remote and beautiful locations.
Travel is included for the vast majority of weddings across mainland Scotland. If your plans involve a particularly remote location or require overnight accommodation, I'll simply provide a bespoke travel quote before you book, so everything is clear from the start.
What happens if it rains?
A little rain won't stop your wedding photographs. I'll keep an eye on the forecast and help adjust plans if needed, but some of the most beautiful days in Scotland happen when the weather doesn't quite go to plan. The key is embracing the adventure and making the most of whatever the day brings.
How many photos will we receive?
I don't put a strict limit on the number of photographs I deliver. If an image helps tell the story of your day and meets my standards, you'll receive it. My focus is always on quality over quantity, so every gallery is a little different depending on the plans, locations and moments we capture together.
Do you do destination weddings?
Absolutely. I'm based in Kinross, but I photograph weddings throughout Scotland and beyond. Whether you're planning a celebration in the Highlands, Edinburgh, Fife or even further afield, I'd love to hear about your plans.
When will we receive our photos?
I aim to deliver sneak peeks within 48 hours of your wedding. Your final gallery will typically be delivered within 4–6 weeks of your wedding. I take the time to carefully edit each image, ensuring your photographs are polished, consistent and ready to be enjoyed for years to come.

Simply get in touch and tell me about your plans. We'll have a wee chat about your ideas, and I'll put together a proposal based on what you're looking for. Once the paperwork is signed and your deposit is paid, your date is officially booked in.
