For couples who want a wedding day shaped by meaning, landscape, light, weather, and the freedom to do things their own way.
I've always believed the most memorable stories aren't the ones that follow a formula. The same is true of wedding days.
An elopement gives you the freedom to write a day that feels authentically yours. That might mean exchanging vows beside a Highland loch, exploring Edinburgh's cobbled streets, celebrating with your closest family, or setting off on an adventure somewhere that already holds meaning for you.
When you choose to elope in Scotland, your wedding day doesn't have to fit anyone else's expectations. It can be shaped by the places you love, the experiences you share, and the story you're building together.
As an elopement photographer, that's what I love documenting most: not just how your day looked, but how it felt to live it.
Why Scotland is Made for Elopements
Every couple arrives at this chapter differently, and one of the things that makes Scotland such a special place to elope is the freedom to shape the story in your own way.
Unlike many parts of the world, Scotland allows legal outdoor ceremonies, giving you the opportunity to exchange vows somewhere that feels meaningful to you. A place with history, a place with meaning, or simply a place that feels like the beginning of something new. The result is that no two elopements ever unfold in quite the same way.
Some couples keep things simple with a ceremony and a quiet celebration afterwards. Others spend the day exploring the Highlands, sharing the experience with a handful of loved ones, or turning their wedding day into an adventure that stretches from morning until sunset.
There isn't a single way to elope in Scotland. Your day can be relaxed, adventurous, intimate, unconventional, or a little bit of everything. The most meaningful celebrations are often the ones built around the people, places, and experiences that matter most to you.
She made us feel completely at ease from the moment we met. She had us laughing when the nerves kicked in and captured moments we'll treasure forever.
Planning + Support
Eloping gives you the freedom to create a wedding day that feels entirely your own, but that doesn't mean you have to plan it alone.
Whether you already have a clear vision or you're starting with a simple idea, I'm here to help you shape a day that feels natural, meaningful, and realistic. From choosing locations and building a timeline to navigating Scotland's ever-changing weather, I'll share my experience to help your plans come together smoothly.
My role goes beyond documenting your day. I'm here to answer questions, offer guidance, and help you create an experience that feels relaxed from start to finish, so that when the day arrives, you can focus on being present with each other.

FAQ
Can you help us choose a location?
Absolutely! if you're not sure where to elope. I'll help you find a location that fits the experience you're hoping to create. From dramatic glens to historic city streets, we'll choose somewhere that feels right for your story.
What happens if it rains?
A wee bit of rain won't stop your elopement. I'll keep an eye on the forecast and help adjust plans if needed, but some of the most beautiful Scottish elopements happen when the weather doesn't quite go to plan. The key is embracing the adventure and making the most of whatever the day brings.
We don't know exactly what our plans are, can we still enquire?
Don't worry! You don't need to have everything figured out before getting in touch. If you know you want to elope in Scotland but you're still unsure of the details we can talk through your ideas and start shaping a day that feels right for you.
Can you help us pick a date?
Yes! The time of year can have a big impact on your elopement, from the weather and how busy locations are to even the hours of daylight! I can help you choose a date that suits your vision for the day.
Do you help with accommodation and supplier recommendations?
Of course! I'm always happy to suggest accommodation and suppliers that may be a good fit for your plans and location. While you'll book everything directly, I can help point you in the right direction.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples enquire between 6-12 months before their elopement, but there's no set rule. Whether you're planning well ahead or hoping to escape to Scotland in a few weeks time, it's always worth reaching out to check my availability.
Do you photograph international couples?
Yes. I photograph both local and international couples. Many of the couples I work with are visiting Scotland for the first time. I'm always happy to share local knowledge and planning advice to help you feel at ease. I also speak fluent Spanish.
How many photos will we receive?
I don't put a strict limit of the number of images I deliver. If an image helps tell your story and meets my standards, you'll receive it. My focus is always on quality over quantity, so every gallery is a wee bit different depending on plans, locations and moments we capture together.
How do we book?
Simply get in touch and tell me about your plans. We'll have a wee chat and I'll put together a proposal based on what you're looking for. Once the paperwork is signed and a deposit is paid, your date is secured.
